I went to a really nice wedding yesterday, it was in a little town, but it was quite quaint. The bride was my daughters best friend, and so I too have know her for quite some time. She married a guy from England. His family and a few friends flew over for the wedding. It was fun seeing how different they are from us, as far as how they dressed and the way they spoke, but it was awesome. They didn't like the heat here at all, but then it was 90 degrees here yesterday.
For the wedding gift I gave some money, but I also gave them a candle that I know the bride liked from my companies line of candles. Who knows...maybe they will burn in on their honeymoon...... Best part of all I can deduct it as a business expense. I love having my own candle business. It gives me the freedom to go to different activities like weddings, plus I ALWAYS have candles on hand to give for gifts.
