It's cold here!!!!!!!

Well the weather has changed again! We went from being all nice and toasty warm to cold and snow. I've decided to stay in today and work on my home candle business. I've lit our new pear pomegranate candle and it smells so good! It makes me feel warmer just having it lit. I'm so lucky that I don't have to go to work for someone else today. :)

I am just excited to say that my candles are made right here in the USA. Have you stopped into a discount store lately and picked up an item? Have you look on the item to see where its made? Seems like EVERYTHING you pick up these days is made in China, or worse, some place you have never heard of. I am so proud to work for a company that makes their candles right here in the US. I say if we want to keep our jobs, start buying American made products.

recouperating

I am spending the day trying to rest, after my best friends daughters wedding yesterday. We had so much fun! She had lots of candles at the wedding, and I was just thinking that the candles in the room really changed the mood. It is just so relaxing watching a candle burn. My company has over 90 different scents of candles to choose from, all different colors. We have candles to match any wedding decor. Spa Sations

I was just thinking....I am going to call on all the dentist offices, the chiropractors, and the beauty salons that have spas in town, to see if they would like to smell our new Spa Sations candles. They smell sooooo good! I have a dentist here in town that is already a regular customer, he likes the Mia Bella candles burning in his office so it does not smell so much like a dentist office. He knows that a nice relaxing scent in the air puts his clients at ease. I am the only Mia Bella distributor in this area, so I have a whole lot of area to cover! I plan on going to surrounding areas as I get time. What a fun way to make a living!

Relaxing

Just sitting here relaxing, after helping my best friend decorate for her daughters wedding all day. I came home ate, then lit a candle before sitting down. You HAVE to smell the new Pear pomegranate candle!

I got in the new Candle of The Month, Pear Pomegranate candles the other day, and all I have to say is WOW!!! I think it is now my favorite! It smells wonderful. I sold all the candles I had in two days and now have more ordered. So far everyone who has smelled this candle has wanted one. I think that this candle is going to be very popular!
I'm off to get a weave in my hair this afternoon, then plan on working after supper tonite on my candle business. It is sooooo nice to be able to work when it works for me. I work for about three hours every day, and I could work more if I wanted to, but I choose to work my business part time for now. It's GREAT to be my own boss. What a beautiful day!!!!!

I am so excited....it suppose to be almost 80 degrees here today!!! What a change from just a few weeks ago when it was only 7 degrees. UGH. I plan on getting out to the garden today and planting my potatoes. The ground is finally warm enough. I love working outside.
Oh, I have to say...You HAVE to smell the Chocolate Kiss candle!!!! I have been burning one lately and oh my gosh! It smells WONDERFUL!!! It smells just like I'm baking brownies. I'm not much of a cook so this is a hands up for me. It is one of my favorite candles, and I know alot of other people like it too, as I sold a ton of them on Valentines day. What a GREAT gift! Lots better than a box of candy.
It's days like this that I really love having a home candle business. I can work a few hours now, then later spend the rest of the day enjoying the nice weather. What a deal. :)

Why I started a candle business

Hi, and thank you for visiting my blog about why I started a candle business.
I started a candle business for many reasons. The first reason is because I just wanted some extra income. Do you know anyone who doesn't? Anyway....I have had health issues for quite a few years and have not been able to work a 8 hour day for quite some time. However, I still wanted to work some. I wanted to be able to work in the part of the day that I did feel good. As I usually felt pretty good for the first few hours when I first get up, I figured I could work durning that time. As you can see, I needed something very flexable. That's one thing that's really great about this candle business!!! Some people just want to work while their kids are in school, and this candle business allows them to do just that.
The other reason I started a candle business is that I wanted to work from home. I wanted to work online as much as possible. I have to say that with this candle business I get to work online all I want! It's great, and alot of fun!
Working my candle business gives me the freedom to work when I want and where I want. I get to meet all kinds of great people and earn profit at the same time. Candles are a really fun way to earn extra income, and I'm glad I started this candle business.
